LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Halq'eméylem is the language of this land and of Stó:lĹŤ ancestors. The place from where Halq'eméylem (Upriver dialect) originates is Leq'á:mel. The language comes from the land, and it has been this way since time immemorial.
